Nigel is an absolute genius. I cannot recommend him more. He did all the tailoring on my wedding dress, and it fit like a dream. I comfortably wore it until 2 in the morning and felt gorgeous the whole night. We have since brought every thing from my husband’s pants hems to formal gown alterations to him and will continue to do so for ever! He’s a wonderful man and an excellent tailor.

I have been coming here for a while when it was just Nigel and didn’t have any issues. I thought Nigel did so well when I moved farther away I still kept going. My last dress I brought in didn’t turn out great, but I thought maybe it was the dress. I brought in another dress and had to bring it back three times - it was altered too short and the lining of the slip was hemmed longer than the actual dress. By the third time I need to wear the dress to the wedding and the lining was still showing in the front of the dress. When you look the back of the slip lines up but the front is about three inches longer than the dress and the inner lining. I paid a lot of money and the dress is ruined. I will never go back again. Seems Nigel is expanding and hired a few other people since I first started going, so that may be the issue at hand. Really disappointing and a complete waist of my time and money.

Nigel is a fantastic tailor! I got a formal dress, jeans, and a designer top altered and my boyfriend got suiting tailored and all came out perfectly. Also Nigel is a very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable person. Very satisfied with the services provided and will be returning!

The service is exceptional. Nigel and his staff put their hearts and focus into the job and gave great results. I brought in an oversized suit and they fixed it up just right, to my liking. They also take the time to inform you on the details. I don’t know much about tailoring, but he taught me a thing or two which enlightened me.

I had a really positive experience! The place is surrounded by so much beautiful art and the tailor was really nice. They fixed my pants and he even told me how to take better care of the material. They also do classes! Worth the price and I definitely recommend it!

This place is an amazing small local tailoring business! First time I came in, Nigel happened to have the correct color threaded on his sewing machine, so my pair of pants got hemmed instantly on the spot! I had a pair of white shorts also that I wanted taken in at the waist, which Nigel was super patient about after I came back in a few times to get a few other things about it fixed. It’s clear that he’s got a ton of experience (and was correct about denim stretching after several wears, so got my shorts to the exact correct width!) and he and several members of the family that works in the business also are super wonderful people. He's also super talented and makes clothing from scratch too. Will be coming back for any other alteration needs.

Amazing tailor! Nigel is very detailed oriented and makes sure every piece is done perfectly. I have gone for a number of items, mostly jeans/pants, which I had to have the waist taken in. They all fit very well now and you can’t even tell where they were re-sewn. Everyone in the shop is extremely nice and they also have great customer service. Highly recommend for any of your tailoring needs.

Nigel is truly talented and a pleasure to work with. He assured me that my dress would be finished in time for my wedding and rest assured it was. He even left me a sweet note wishing me all the best with my new journey in married life. Also if you catch him singing it’s definitely not a bad thing... he has a great voice!
