Paul has been making my glasses for over 20 years. I have a very difficult prescription and have had issues in the past. Since following the recommendation of my Doctor I have never had problems with new glasses. Paul takes time to fit the lenses in the correct frame. He knows his customers and he is skilled at fitting. My Glasses are very expensive because of the correction needed. It’s worth getting it done right.

I just had my 1st appointment here and it was a fantastic experience. Each staff member was wonderful and was a great customer experience from the time I walked in the door till I left. They did a great job in explaining to me what was going on with my eyes and what I needed to do moving forward. I highly recommend optical concepts to anyone!

Dr Landrio is my doctor and she is so sweet and really gets to know you as a person not just a patient. She only sees me once a year and remembers everything she is remarkable. I worked with Paul to pick out a new pair of sunglasses and he knows his stuff. He has a great personality and was so fun to work with!

Did my yearly checkup with Dr Valerie Giangrande. As always she is very professional and very informative. She will answer any questions that I have. Very thorough exam. Needed new glasses and Paul a pleasure to deal with took care of that. Would highly recommend them for you to use for your eye care.

The front desk receptionists were extremely disorganized, failed to book appointments properly and were very disrespectful. I booked appointments for both contacts and glasses. Because my prescription for eyeglasses were already determined during my contacts visit, my second visit should’ve been to pick out my glasses and get punctal plugs for dry eyes. When I got to the office on the day of the appointment, I was told I cannot see the doctor for the plugs as they did not book me for it even though the doctor previously said that it is a quick procedure and that I can just get it done when I pick out my glasses. So there I was, took time off work, drove to the office and denied half of my appointment. On top of that the front desk personnel were unapologetic and kept whispering to each other and giggling while I waited. They also give a terrible attitude when I paid for my glasses (about $500 on top of insurance!)

After my appointment, I got the usual “glasses will be ready in about two weeks, we’ll give you a call”. I waited three weeks and the call never came. I had to call the office and they told me it’s been ready. So the front desk not only can’t schedule appointments correctly but they also forget to call customers for glasses pickup.

Dr. Landrio and the optician were both amazing and knowledgeable but I will not be returning next year as the front desk staffs are just not efficient and wasted my time. There are many great optical businesses in LI, experienced optometrists and opticians shouldn’t be a business’ only competitive edge.

If you’re in the market for an exam and glasses, don’t look any further. Dr. Gentile is amazing and I will never let anyone other than Paul Stone pick out my eyeglasses for the rest of my life. That should say it all but, if you need more: excellent, consistent, quality service always.

Great customer service! I walk in with an emergency due to the fact that my frames on my old glasses broke and I needed to travel the same day . Paul who helped me was able to get my new glasses within 2 hours. He even helped me pick out my new glasses which were very similar to my old broken glasses. I needed my new glasses ASAP since I was traveling to Vegas and Paul was able to get my new glasses before my trip and was so kind and patience. I have been to many opticals and this is by far is best I have been to. Beyond HAPPY.
