I’m such a huge fan of this place. Definitely one of the best clothing stores in the city and by extension the country.

I love the minimalistic aesthetic, and the rotating styles.The service is also really nice.

Definitely make a stop at this store when you’re in SF.

It’s saddening that the first negative review I’ve ever written goes to my favourite store, but I feel compelled to share today’s experience in San Francisco.

After noticing that an Everlane sweater I bought last week (and never worn) had a snag and makeup stains on the inside, I wanted to exchange it for the exact same piece.

The staff not only ignored our greetings and overall presence while we were looking for different sizes for my partner (despite being literally the only customers at that time), they also refused to do the exchange, claiming there was no way they could “verify whether the damage wasn’t my fault” (even though I repeated that the piece has literally never been worn and the tag was still attached).

Very disappointing given I’ve been a loyal Everlane customer for years and the extremely friendly service in their other locations (LA, Seattle, New York) has always been one of my highlights.

I live in Palo Alto and found a dress that I wanted to give to a friend for her birthday. Valencia store was the only one with the size I needed but I could not get up there to pick it up. Kate, an Everlane employee, drove the dress down to the Palo Alto store herself, to ensure I would have it for the birthday celebration. So above and beyond!! Everlane is very fortunate to have someone so customer focused. Thank you, Kate!

I’ve been buying from Everlane online for a couple of years and I finally got to see the Everlane store in real life. It was everything I had hoped for! Cool atmosphere and there were quite a lot of items available. I shop Everlane because I appreciate the company’s strive to be transparent about the manufacturing and pricing of their products. Great store! Staff was super helpful to get sizes from the stock room. Very nice dressing rooms and check out area. It was busy but still efficient to get my shopping done!

I must say, as a longtime customer of Everlane, I was really excited to check out the store on my visit to the States in September, but I couldn't have been more disappointed. As many people have already noted, stock assortment is limited, which is a bummer, but mostly I was appalled by the service - or lack thereof. There were probably twice as many employees as customers, yet I was continually looked over and ignored with hands full of product while people shopping literally right next to me were asked if they needed help by multiple sales associates. The lack of fitting rooms/waiting time is a bit ridiculous, though I did encounter the only helpful person there, even if she never brought me the additional item I asked for. The sales people either were running around frazzled and stressed, or the vast majority, chatting to each other and (as someone else already noted here) throwing elevator eyes to anyone who dared get in their vicinity. The whole experience really left a bad taste in my mouth about the brand, and honestly reminded me why I left the Bay Area nearly a decade ago. Such a shame.
