After my car being off the road for 7 years and having a rebuilt engine I could never get it to run properly. A trip to C&J and before I even got home to Scotland they had my car starting and running . The communication from the guys was amazing every job that was done to the car I was made aware of what exactly was going on. The knowledge these guys have on these cars is unreal they fix/ repair the faults instead of just throwing parts on the cars that are unneeded that maybe other garages/ “specialists” would do .

2 weeks later All problems fixed and a clean MOT on my car and a 350 mile drive home and the car never skipped a beat!

If you are looking to put your pride and joy somewhere where you can trust this is the place ! Cheers again lads ?

Best small garage for miles around bar none. For a small workshop the breadth of services the lads at C and J auto can provide is extensive, from restoration work on cherished classics to everyday service work and all things in between. Craig and James are highly skilled experienced and knowledgable mechanics that always go the extra mile and take care of the small details most other garages sadly miss. They use use nothing but the best parts and best practice, I would recommend anyone to use c and j auto especially those with a pride and joy vehicle that they wouldn’t trust to anyone else’s care. I would never use anywhere else.

I had a recurring DPF fault that would eventually put the car in limp mode. Even not in limp mode the car was sluggish and unresponsive. No one else's diagnostic would access the car properly and was advised to undertake a DPF clean or replacement at a cost of up to around £1000, making the car uneconomical to keep.

Not only did their diagnostic work first time , they fixed the problem completely, saving me a small fortune. Very helpful with on going maintenance advice for the DPF and the car in general.

Honestly can't fault them , strongly recommend giving them a ring before taking other garages word for it when facing a large bill.
