This place is amazing! Every person working here was incredibly kind and uplifting. The rooms are bright and cheerful, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. My dog had a great time here too! I highly recommend staying here. It’s heartwarming to know that this wonderful place supports Best Friends Animal Society—it’s truly a great community making the world a better place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Best Friends, and actually our 2 dogs enjoyed it even more than we did. It is such a dog friendly place with wonderful amenities that are great for dogs. They have the double doors to the room which gives great peace of mind. Their onsite dog parks are really wonderful and we used them often. The park was a great place to let the dogs run off leash which doesn't usually happen on our road trips. The room was wonderful, clean, and very modern. We loved the daily breakfasts and the complimentary coupons to lunch at the Sanctuary. Everyone we met who worked there were very nice and very helpful. We especially enjoyed the gentleman entertaining us on Saturday night with his wonderful guitar music. I highly recommend this Roadhouse to everyone and hope to return some day.

I wish I could give this place more than five stars!! It was amazing and definitely the best place that we stayed on our trip!
The staff were amazing!! And facilities were amazing with so many small but thoughtful touches with your pet in mind!
I’m telling everyone I know that they need to stay here!!

They even have a pet spa with amazing equipment! This came in handy after one of our hikes ended up with my dog playing in the red mud ? everything that we needed to give her a good bath was provided!

I have stayed here twice in the last year. Even though it is designed for dogs, I would stay here even if my dogs were at home. The rooms are super comfortable and clean. The price is good for the area. As for the dogs, this is without a doubt the best place I have ever stayed for dogs. Great dog park great room.

We were looking for a pet friendly motel in Kanab while on a southwest road trip. Best Friends Roadhouse popped up in our search and we are so glad it did! We had not heard of Best Friends Animal Society before, but after researching we knew this was the place for us. The Roadhouse lodging exceeded our expectations, friendly staff, quiet, comfortable, clean, modern, pet friendly rooms - actually it is pet centered. Great Kanab location to use as a base while visiting the area, beautifully landscaped grounds with lots of areas to walk your pet and a fire pit to relax by every evening. Two dog parks, splash pond, dog wash area, trundle bed for your pet, and lots of treats! Our dog loved the motel and all the attention from the staff and other guests. We toured the sanctuary and were overwhelmed by the amazing work they do for all of the animals. We are already planning a trip next year specifically to visit Best Friends and volunteer for a couple shifts as the sanctuary.

This place is awesome! Whether or not you have pets with you, I highly recommend staying here. Super clean, nice, comfy beds, friendly staff. If you do have a dog with you, they will LOVE it! If I had more time, I would've visited the animal sanctuary...seems like a neat place. Proceeds from hotel help support it too--very cool!

Five Stars aren't enough to describe the experience at Best Friends. The dog and I stayed five nights and were sad to leave. The friendly staff, great breakfast, and fun shopping at the Mercantile were memorable. I also appreciated the free laundry. |A tour of the Sanctuary is a must. I will be back to volunteer!

We LOVED our stay at Best Friends! We were traveling with two dogs and our son. We loved the pull out doggie beds and all the pet friendly perks throughout the room and the property. Especially loved that they had a dog park on the property. Despite being a property that caters to travelers with dogs/pets, everything was VERY clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here and I wish there were more throughout the US!
