Our personal experience was initially a complete demolition and remodel of a large kitchen area. Debbie and Glenn (A/C owner) were most helpful with a design, that turned out beautifully!! We were so delighted with the A/C work that we contracted with them further for the renovation of our other 2 1/2 bathrooms, plus ceramic tile replacement of all our floors throughout our condo.

Authentic Concepts also has a great showroom and design staff, which was very beneficial in selecting items that worked with our design. Special thanks to A/C staff Eric, Kenny, Eli plus others that made it all come together!

The work was good. Although it took way too long! There were multi days even a few scattered weeks were no work was done! I had explicitly explained that the work needed to be completed for memorial day weekend because of out of guests! The remains wires were light fixtures would be hung. There were no handles on any of the Cabinet drawers or on the doors nor were they not trimmed ! Also, there was to be placed a large cabinet It was not placed! The lighting above the bathtub was not placed nor the lights above the mirror over the sinks were not placed! My husband and able to use the room, But I was not able to show an incomplete bathroom to my out of out of town guests:( Needless to say, I’m very disappointed! I had my opinion to both the contractor and the owner several times.

Authenic Concepts went beyond my expectations in remodeling my kitchen. Starting with Ken, my designer, he helped me plan and pick out cabinets, hardware, backsplash, flooring and appliances within my budget. Ken was always there with answers for me no matter what day or time it was. When it was time to start the job, Tyler did an awesome job with the removal of cabinets, flooring and installed a new ceiling and backsplash. When my cabinets came in Todd and Heather work together customizing and installing to perfection. Everyone who came in to do work for the day, took the time to clean up at the end of each day which was huge in my mind. Ray, the project manager kept everything rolling and was in constant communication with me. And then there’s Cesar, the truck driver. He stop by one day to drop off an appliance and saw I had large order of flooring tile delivered, sitting outside. Rain was coming my way and he offered to carry all that tile inside for me. The kid is a beast!
I can’t say enough how everyone work together like family and included me to be part of their family during this renovation. I’m so glad I stopped in one day just to inquire. ?

I can't begin to express how happy I am with the transformation of my condo kitchen, so I'll let pictures do most of the talking. I must however express sincere gratitude to Glen Rumor (owner) for an exquisite kitchen design, to Andrew for a seamless ceiling rise of nearly 2 additional feet..meeting my hallway ceiling, and to Daryl, a master craftsman, responsible for my custom cabinetry and baseboards. He is without a doubt, a perfectionist, and has been a pleasure to have in our home. Every single person who comes to see the finished job has stated they are in love with the cabinetry and the entire kitchen is breathtaking. The electrician, plumbers, counter guys and tilers all played a part in making my kitchen functional as well as warm and inviting. Thank you all so much!

These guys were beyond great!! We had an entire kitchen remodel we wanted to complete and this was the first time we had been through the process, so it was overwhelming to say the least. The entire team was unbelievable and they all worked with us throughout the process to help guide us with all of the decisions and the end result was everything we wanted. Special thanks to Ken, Ray and Ariel who we worked with very closely the entire time. We honestly couldn’t be happier with the way the kitchen turned out and we will certainly be calling them when we inevitably have to remodel the bathrooms. We have just finished our kitchen remodel with Authentic Concepts, and are very happy with the results. While there were some minor delays, the project was completed by the holidays, and just in time for a family gathering. We worked with Kari G., and she gave us excellent guidance regarding design and materials. There were a number of craftspeople working with us, and we want to give a special shout out to Tyler and Daniel for their skill and patience. Thank you Glenn, for making sure it all came to fruition. The kitchen looks beautiful, and is a very efficient use of space. We do not hesitate to recommend Authentic Concepts!

We had the superb experience of having Authentic Concepts Kitchen and Bath remodel our home in New Port Richey, Florida. A large part of our home had to be demolished due to a mold infestation discovered after we had moved in. We camped in our lanai, cooking on hot plates while we searched for someone to help us. The bright side was that I could envision my dream kitchen and bath and hope someone could make it a reality. Things looked dismal for a while with very limited usable kitchen space including a large weight bearing pole and low hanging large vent right in the middle of the kitchen area. The curved walls did not accommodate more than a junior small sized oven. Kari G the designer said "I love a challenge" . You can say she performed a miracle. Our new kitchen is not only open and spacious with an island and breakfast bar that we love, but also has a large refrigerator, DW and also the double oven I have always wanted. We have cabinets galore and even a wrap around coffee station. The products rank so high in quality and beauty that we used them in the master bath as well. Visitors come and always exclaim when they see the final effect. Authentic Concepts Kitchen & Bath turned our concept into a reality.

Did not use their services but had a rep come out and measure. Both the initial salesperson as well as the designer stated I would be able to supply my own materials without issue. No one said that they would not install the cabinets I would purchase on my own. When asking for the terms of payment they stated 50% up front before any work is done, even if they are not buying materials, and then the balance due half way through the process, even before the job was even finished. When it was time to receive a price they required for me to come to their store and sit through a presentation before they would provide a price. I asked if they would make it easier and come to the home (one mile away) and provide pricing, and if necessary give the presentation with their laptop which they refused. I asked for their price to ensure it would be within my budget, before agreeing to come in, but they refused.

By paying for the job prior to the completion, it can be very risky in my opinion, and you lose your leverage in ensuring the project is complete and done correctly. Many established companies went out of business during the recession of 1999 to 2001 as well as many more during the great recession of 2008 to 2012.

Contact your local States Attorney's office, or local consumer protection agency, if they approve of this unequitable arrangement for paying for contract services. I found several other independent home improvement contractors, with good reviews, that did not require these type of unacceptable terms and had the job completed successfully and for a reasonable price.
