Referred to C&C by our car insurance after accident. First class service and repairs from start to finish. The car was returned to us in perfect condition with a top quality valet. Highly recommended.

I've recently had my car repaired by C&C after another car drove into the back of mine. It was picked up at the time they said and I was kept up to date with repairs. It was then returned at the time they said and the repair is absolutely immaculate. Really pleased with the job they have done. All the staff I dealt with were really friendly and polite.

Slow and mediocre work
After being hit from behind by a taxi my 4 year old car was taken to C&C coachworks by the insurance company.
What was initially quoted as a 7 day repair took 30 days to complete with the end date being repeatedly put back at the last minute. So long that the taxi driver's insurance company refused to pay for the hire car because they said the repair time was unreasonable.
When I went to pick it up, I was just handed the keys and told where it was parked. Over the next few days the alarm kept going off. I went back to C&C and they said it wasn't their fault because they had found the rear washer was leaking and that has probably caused the problem. Even though they agreed it was working fine when it went in and had a photo of their fitter holding the connector with the newly loose wire during the repair, they didn't see fit to mention this before I complained, or offer to fix it while they had the car in bits. Thanks guys.
In the following 12 months both rear light clusters fell out because the fasteners broke, the rear number plate cracked (all overtightened I guess), the tailgate badges fell off and the two boot struts failed due to being very rusty. They were not rusty before the accident. (Maybe they left the damaged boot open for 3 weeks?)
The rear panel, bumper trim and one of the reversing sensors are also poorly aligned causing intermittent problems.
When I recently asked for a trade in value the salesman immediately said 'oh it’s had a rear end repair’, before even opening the boot.
To sum it up, if offered a repair by C&C Coachworks or Tyne Tees Vehicle Repair Group, I would recommend going somewhere else.

I was referred to C & C Coachworks through my insurance company after an accident. I was kept in the loop with progress reports at all times, the staff have been lovely, and my car has now been returned to me looking brand new! Thank you so much, C&C, and Merry Christmas! x

I will be avoiding this repair centre in future. I've had two encounters with them albeit many years apart. I wasn't impressed by their standard of repair (not excellent) or their customer facing experience. During my most recent visit for a damaged wing etc, I felt really intimidated when I asked questions about how the repair was done. I wasn't satisfied and decided to go to another garage to have the car checked over. I felt that they were taking on too much work at once and were struggling to complete the jobs to a good standard and on time. There are better repair centres than this in the North East.

My car has a recurring sensor fault after a repair they carried out. These cowboys have tried twice to fix it and now they've washed their hands of it and told me to sort it out with the insurance company. They're a bunch of crooks. Look at the reviews for their alias, Tyne Tees Vehicle repair group. Several people have been left with faults which this claim are nothing to do with them. British kitemark? Hilarious
