I live in the neighborhood and popped into the new retail space of Ouroboros. Ouroboros is a unique shop carrying niche, hard to find eyewear, fragrances, and accessories from all over the globe. The product selection is curated nicely and is rare and exclusive to their shop.

The owner at the shop is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. She is willing to answer questions about her products and you can really tell she is passionate about the lines she carries. I felt very comfortable browsing the shelves and trying things on.

Had a terrific experience yesterday at OUROBOROS when I made it my San Francisco destination and reason to cross the bay from Oakland. The accomplished owner gave me a personal tour of fragrance offerings, the majority of which I've never had the opportunity to try in the Bay Area.

The shop's minimal, meditative aesthetic and interior neutralizes distractions and helps to showcase a personal, curated selection of jewelry, eyewear, and leather accessories in addition to fragrances.

I left OUROBOROS feeling I had made a real connection, inspired by the owner's vision and commitment to it, and excited to wear the incense-forward fragrance I bought, Filippo Sorcinelli's, Plein jeu III-V, and to return for my next purchase!
