I drove 30 minutes to Binge Bins, excited to check it out for the first time, but what should have been a fun outing quickly turned into a frustrating experience. I had my 22-month-old toddler in one arm and a medium-sized handbag (12”) holding essential items like my wallet, my keys, receiving blankets, and his soother. The bag was not oversized and simply contained what I needed to care for my child.

Within two steps through the door, I was stopped by an employee who asked if it was my first time there. When I said yes, I was immediately told, “Well, you can’t have that bag in here.” They explained I could only bring in my wallet—no exceptions. I was taken aback. With a baby in one hand and no pockets, I would have no way to manage my wallet and still be able to shop.

The entire exchange felt cold and impersonal, with no consideration for my situation as a parent or basic customer service. The lack of kindness or understanding was disappointing, to say the least. I felt like a criminal for simply bringing a bag with my child’s essentials.

Needless to say, I turned around and left, feeling completely unwelcome and embarrassed. I will not be returning to Binge Bins and would caution others, especially parents, to think twice before making the trip. If a store is going to be so strict, they could add it to their online “rules” (it’s not there) or they should at least treat customers with respect instead of making them feel unwelcome.

First time I went here it was on the $10 day, and got some really good deals. As far as I gather is that everything in the bins are Amazon returns, or overstock items. There are some new items that I did see. Go on the days that you want the better stuff, like the $20, or $10, and then go on the $1-$2 days when you want everything else.

The people giving 1 star reviews are the ones who get offended easily, or are the trouble makers that didn't follow the rules. There's a big sign when you walk into the store that says the rules..you seriously can't miss it unless you're legally blind (or ignorant).

If you open the boxes, yes you'll get kicked out, it says it on the rules + an employee warns everyone on a megaphone twice an hour to not open boxes.

Do these same people open the boxes at other stores too?

There's a testing station where you can bring the boxes for the employees to open, and also test to see if the same product is in it, or if it works. Everything is final sale when you leave, so make sure to check everything at the testing station before buying it.

In the few times i've shopped here, i've never had any issues with the employees (like the 1 star reviews are saying). They've all been kind, and courteous.

I personally enjoy shopping at this location as it's quiet, and calming, especially on the pricier days.
Give this place a shot, and ignore the law breaker reviews that got caught, and cried about it.

P.S - There is no membership fee anymore.

I was a twice a week shopping until yesterday! The cashier lady has gone crazy .yelling at everyone calling them names and shooting the finger at people. While I understand she gets alot of flack over the purse policy , the way she handles it is completely unacceptable! Telling people to go shop somewhere else and not letting them buy their stuff in their cart is really not helping! The owners should really look into this . There are other bins store in the city , that’s where I will be from now on.below is a photo of the small sling purse you cannot bring in to store. Wondering what I could possibly steal that fits in there?

We used to be faithful customers until they hired a couple of rude people.

If you want to be made to feel uncomfortable, looked down on or treated with disrespect... This is definitely the place for you.

Most boxes are pre-opened, missing items, broken, expired, Used or defective, and no returns or exchanges allowed.

Things sold as sets are pick and choose at cash out. (Even if the packaging clearly has a blank spot for the matching item).

One star is more than they gave us.
We can't support their type of business practices like we were.

What an awful experience.

The products here are great, but the customer service is seriously lacking. The staff often appears indifferent, giving the impression that they’re doing you a favor by allowing you to shop there. Professionalism should be a given, especially when customers are supporting the business. It would be helpful to have employees who are both professional and mature, rather than ones who seem to lack basic job etiquette.

BEWARE don't visit this place.
They want to take your purse when you enter. Shady place. Definitely felt like they profiled people when they came in to decide whose bags to take. A dozen women had purses but they wanted ours. Wouldn't be surprised if you leave your purse and have unknown credit charges later ... Scam vibes in this place for sure.

Fun store to visit; so many items at low prices. Thursday and Friday are good days to visit. You can find a variety of stuff like toys, gadgets, accessories for phones and laptops. Staff is friendly as well. Make sure to check the stuff before buying because some boxes are opened and it may contain broken stuff.

It was a terrible experience. When checking out, the cashier said that the item didn't belong in this box. I said it was written on the box as having this kit. She didn't look, just said someone would put something in the box. I said I understand that some people would do this, so that's why I want you to take a look at what is included in the instructions on the box. She said i don’t care you can choose not to buy. Her attitude is not like that of a cashier serving customers, or like a police officer seeing a bad person. I won't come back
